There are a variety of in person programs and workshops for everyone of all ages.

As an education leader, we engage students, families, teachers, and life-long learners to dig a little deeper into the science of trees. The Bayard Cutting Arboretum education programs are available year-round and provide learning experiences for educators, families, kids, adults, school groups, and youth groups.

In addition to watching exciting polo matches, we also offer many options for you to learn how to play the “Sport of Kings” for adults and children ages 5 and up! We offer both group and private lessons in a non-intimidating setting that is both challenging and fun, and is perfect for anyone looking for a sport that is beneficial for your mind, body and soul.

Founded in 1981, The City of Glen Cove Youth Bureau is the premier organization in the City dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment so that all youth, all families, and the entire community achieve their potential

Our experts offer local and affordable skill training for educators, youth leaders, human service personnel, and parents. Our Family Health and Wellness educators help strengthen families and address critical issues facing them today.

Juckas Stables offers Trail Rides, Private Lessons, Summer Camps, After School Camps, Holiday Camps, Birthday Parties, Pony Rides and lots' of opportunities to interact with and enjoy Horses.

The North Shore Wildlife Sanctuary provides educational programs at Shu Swamp and Coffin Woods Preserves. These preserves are wonderful sites for outdoor environmental education and offer a wide variety of programming opportunities. .

Through educational programs, events, and museum services, we educate the public as to the significance of Queens County's agricultural and horticultural past and heighten awareness of present-day sustainable agricultural and horticultural practices.

Ski Sundown offers multi-week group lesson programs for kids, teens, and adults, as well as walk-in lessons for ages 4+, and private lessons for ages 3+ (skiing) and 6+ (snowboarding). We also offer adaptive lessons.
