Swirls & Twirls is bringing Halloween to the middle of summer with our first-ever Summerween Weekend!
Summerween is a family-friendly celebration that combines Halloween fun with summer treats. Guests are encouraged to dress up, bring the family, and enjoy a weekend of spooky sweets, costumes, games, raffles, and community fun.
Planned activities include:
Trick-or-Treat Station:
With any purchase, guests can receive 1 Halloween cupcake and pick 3 pieces of candy, while supplies last.
Summerween Dirty Sodas:
Five spooky themed dirty sodas will be available for the weekend only: Witch’s Brew, Graveyard Fizz, Blood Moon Blast, Ghostly Glow, and Pumpkin King’s Revenge.
Candy Corn Guessing Contest:
Enter for a chance to win a $50 Swirls gift card.
Raffle Baskets:
Guests can enter to win Summerween raffle baskets, including a Halloween basket, family fun basket, and Summerween mega basket.
Summerween Bingo Challenge:
Complete 6 of 9 Summerween Bingo activities and turn your card in to staff for 1 entry into the grand prize drawing.
Grand Prize Drawing:
One lucky winner will receive a $50 check from Swirls, Halloween candy basket, 2 dirty soda coupons, 2 free flat rate cup coupons, a Golden Ticket Experience, and an official Summerween Champion Certificate. Winner announced Monday, June 22, 2026.
Golden Ticket Experience:
The winner can redeem one free item in store, excluding cakes, and enjoy a behind-the-counter experience where they create their own dessert with staff assistance.
Golden Pumpkin Hunt:
A golden pumpkin will be hidden in the customer area each day. Find it, bring it to the register, and win a prize.
Blacklight Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos:
Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Summerween After Dark:
Every night from 7 PM to 10 PM, Swirls will turn on blacklights, glow decorations, glow accessories, and Halloween music.
Costume Discount:
Guests wearing a costume receive 10% off their entire order all weekend.
Summerween Weekend is about creating a fun, safe, silly, and memorable experience for the children and families of our community. Come dressed up, bring your family and friends, and help us kick off what we hope becomes a yearly Massapequa tradition.
